Ashlar Development’s The Groves community received notable recognition at Houston’s Best PRISM Awards, where more than 100 Houston-area builders, developers, remodelers and industry professionals bestowed the Master Planned Community Entrance of the Year award to The Groves. The community was also recognized as a finalist for Master Planned Community Landscape Design of the Year and Website of the Year.
The Groves’ entrance features a collection of native trees that are symbolic of the preservation program in place in the community located in northeast Houston off West Lake Houston Parkway. The entrance also features a combination of stone and concrete that represent the natural yet modern style of The Groves, which is located just about 20 miles from downtown Houston.
“We’re honored to earn this recognition from our peers and partners,” said Mike Miller, General Manager for The Groves. “Our team works very hard to preserve the natural environment around us and to create a warming welcome for all our current and future residents to enjoy.”
The Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) Houston’s Best PRISM Awards is an annual event designed to recognize excellence within Houston’s homebuilding industry and to support their efforts. Directed by the GHBA Sales and Marketing Council and aided by volunteers from member companies, the awards were presented at the Marriott Marquis Hotel. This year’s theme, The Night in Monte Carlo, showcased the top tier of Houston’s homebuilding industry as 846 formal-attired guests celebrated the finalists and winners.
